KM4Dev brings together a diverse community where vibrant exchange is the norm. Members span geographies, institutions, and KM approaches, united by a shared willingness to learn from one another, tackle common challenges, explore new ideas and technologies, and collectively advance learning in development.
KM4Dev has been my anchor and a place of limitless learning grounded in generosity and trust. Joining the core team led to the Knowledge Cafés, creating inclusive spaces that amplified voices beyond in-person events. I will be forever thankful.
The sense of community and joint purpose that KM4Dev provides is unique and essential to the development of the field.
Being part of KM4Dev has shaped me in many ways. It connected me to a global network of like-minded practitioners whose values resonated deeply with mine, leading to meaningful collaborations and friendships, even with many I’ve never met in person. Professionally, it has also been a powerful catalyst for new opportunities.
Thank you for the strong community spirit, the shared knowledge, and the passion, and for the friendships along the way.
A personal highlight was co-organising the Global Knowledge for Development Partnership Conference at the UN in Geneva in 2017.
I also deeply valued the collaboration around the Agenda for Knowledge for Development, K4DP, and anchoring KM in the SDGs.
This community is powered by a core group driven purely by passion.
Being part of it has shaped me not only professionally, but deeply personally as well.
It’s a reminder that when people care, learning and growth become transformative.
