Fellow KM Professionals,
Continuing my exploration of building a community of interest in KM. The attached slide provides you with a quick overview of what topic we covered at our last gathering. We are working through a three-part series on KM strategy, and I'm drawing heavily from my mentor Dan Kirch. We will go through the third part in February after which I am hoping to do a video conference with some professionals on doing KM assessments of organizations.

To all who may have an interest.
We held our second KM CoP at RAF Molesworth. I have come to understand that my company actually has a quite robust KM COP as well as many other COPs. These are connected via a tool called Yammer which the company uses as a question/response tool. It does allow for fairly rapid responses and aligns with many best practices identified in KM. Additionally, I had but one other individual attend the event, so, perhaps, this may be a purposeless…

To all who may have an interest,
We held our initial Knowledge Management Community of Practice meeting at RAF Molesworth this past month, and I wanted to provide an update to anyone interested.
My overall plan for our meetings is to spend 15 min on a concept and 45 min on discussion actual problems to which KM may be applied. In this first meeting, I spent 45 min on concepts and we still did 45 minutes on problems. I felt that there was much important…
