KM4DEV Knowledge Cafe 45: USAID Knowledge Rescue, a Year Later

What happens to development knowledge when institutions change, programmes close, and people move on?

Last year, a KM4Dev Knowledge Café opened an important conversation on the urgent need to protect and preserve USAID development knowledge at risk of being lost. One year later, we return to that conversation to ask: what has happened since, what have we learned, and where do we go next?

This session will look at the evolution of the USAID Knowledge Rescue effort, including the platform, the gathering of tacit knowledge, and the challenges of ownership, access, sustainability, equity, and representation.

Join us to reconnect with the journey, reflect together, and help shape the next chapter of USAID Knowledge Rescue.
