I was first invited to join KM4Dev by Lucie Lamoureux in August 2001, leading to my participation in the Chennai Workshop that September. That moment opened an entirely new world for me. Since then, for more than two decades, I have proudly carried my affiliation with this remarkable community.
From starting as a simple participant – observing, learning, and absorbing – I gradually stepped into more active roles. I had the privilege to moderate knowledge discussions and to contribute in various KM4Dev gatherings in St. Gallen, Seattle, Sussex, Lisbon, and Amsterdam. Each of these experiences strengthened my belief that KM4Dev is more than just a professional network; it is a global learning family.
What has always inspired me is the community’s spirit of openness, humility, and shared purpose. KM4Dev taught me that knowledge grows when nurtured collectively, that listening is as powerful as contributing, and that meaningful development work begins with human connection.
As KM4Dev turns 25, I feel deeply honoured to still be part of this living, evolving knowledge ecosystem.
