Knowledge management

i understand that there are practices of knowledge management around organizations, organizations start with small knowledge management initiatives with likely positive impacts based on other organisations experiences. so my question goes like, what are the biggest barriers of knowledge management.

Well, i think knowledge management could be hindered by rigid minds towards change management. If those organizations apply a good change management strategy to adopt emerging technoligies and ICT's to align them with business objectives. Then those techs can be effectively utilized to implement knowledge management. Not sure if that answers you.
