This module explores several key building blocks (and stumbling blocks) of knowledge sharing – culture, incentives, leadership, communications, governance and measurement. The session examines how to nurture a culture conducive to KS, the critical issue of incentives, the role of leaders, models of how KS can be governed within an organization, and effective ways to communicate messages. It also examines the specific tasks, responsibilities and challenges of KS staff and knowledge managers; and measuring the impact of KS.
