A case study from Central America, Mexico, and the Caribbean region. Written by Etienne Wenger (September 2002).
This session is designed to explore the ways in which “communities of practice” (CoP) can be utilized by development organizations to enhance their own performance, and as capacity building tools for their clients and partners. While participants are expected to have some knowledge of what this concept means, the module will nonetheless attempt to better define what makes a CoP unique from other similar structures.
