From the discussion during my Singapore visit this week with Ng Kok Chuan, President of the Information and Knowledge Management Society Singapore as introduced by Patrick Lambe, Chairman of Straits Knowledge because he was out of town, and also after giving presentation about the current trend in shifting paradigm of Knowledge and KM from recent articles in our Social Networking Site (SNS) Mobee Knowledge CoP – KM 2.0”at the office of Neo Kim Hai, Head KM Office of a Goverment Institution, also member of our SNS, I got many valuable feed back from them regarding the SNS mission including the need to reemphasize it and making it more distinctive

To following appendixes intended to fulfill the feed back above mentioned in the form of the need to give some (re)information on our Social Networking Site (SNS) as Open Source KM education as well as Social Learning resources in KM

As suggested by Ron Young (see : Attachment 2 – OPEN SOURCE KM EDUCATION from KM Online), Chief Knowledge Officer at the Knowledge Management Online (use link http://www.knowledge-management-online.com/md-santo.html as “port d’entrée” or gateway to Knowledge Management Online site), I’d like to emphasize that by giving Open Source definitions to broader spectrum and meaning, and also specially powered with Web 2.0 technologies, our forum SNS MOBEE KNOWLEDGE CoP really relevant to be an Open Source KM Education and “becoming a 'living example' of successful global knowledge sharing and knowledge management in action, and provide the facility for you to learn, experience, evaluate and apply Knowledge Management, personally, as a team, as an organisation, or a global km community”. Of course, BlueMoon Tech – Mobee’s explicit knowledge which had been exposed until currently as discussion topics are the living examples regarding the issue above mentioned.

Kira-kira, kapan akan ada diskusi offline membahas KM di Indonesia? Saya melihat ada salah kaprah tentang KM di kalangan yang belum terlalu mengerti (termasuk saya), terutama menyamakan KM dengan IT. Padahal, materi-materi yang sudah ada (salah satunya buku bu Miranda Gultom tentang KM di BI) cukup menjelaskan...

Apa kabar? terima kasih sudah bergabung... soal pengalaman kita bisa sama-sama kembangkan. Saya juga sangat tertarik dengan proses komodifikasi pengetahuan seperti yang diceritakan yang seharusnya menjadi aset setiap komunitas...

Saya belum punya pengalaman solid di bidang knowledge management untuk development projects dan sedang mencari kesempatan untuk bisa lebih banyak belajar.

Saya sering bekerja dengan komunitas dan tertarik bagaimana mengelola knowledge yang mereka miliki (baik sebagai individu maupun satu komunitas) menjadi aset yang bisa mereka pakai, bagikan bahkan "jual" ke orang atau komunitas lain.

Jika ada member yang berpengalaman bekerja mengelola community knowedge, mohon di-share.
