On April 4, 2025, the KM4Dev community came together to relaunch the Knowledge Sharing Toolkit (KS Toolkit)-a trusted resource for knowledge management practitioners worldwide, now reimagined for 2025.
This session shares the story behind the toolkit’s revival and redesign, and introduces its new features:
👉 A simplified, resilient format (static website + collaborative Google Docs)
👉 AI-powered tools to help contributors find, write, and share knowledge
👉 Built-in multilingual support through Google Docs translation
👉 A new editorial board model for peer review and quality assurance
👉 A community-driven approach to sustainability and openness
The event also launched a 3-month community contest inviting KM practitioners to test, expand, and grow the toolkit. Whether you’re into communities of practice, knowledge retention, or resource curation – this is your invitation to take the toolkit for a spin.
