I'm contacting you because IRC is thinking of resuming the KM4DEV borrel tradition in The Hague and we'd like to see if more Dutch organisations based in The Hague would like to join forces.
If each of our organisations sponsors a borrel and we have those borrels on a quarterly basis (which sounds just about right to me), we're talking of 300-400 euros every 1.5 years for each organisation, since we hope to engage with IICD, HIVOS and ISS too.
So do you think SNV would be interested? And should I be in touch with anyone else from SNV on this? Do you know any other The Hague-based organisation that could be interested in this?
Please help and let's get these borrels organised! We were thinking of having one in January and have already set aside the budget for it.
Swell! That's cool :)
I'll contact Jessica then - keep me posted on final decision by SNV, anyways we have some time since we'll anyway have the first one organised in January by us.
As for the position, I can imagine it's difficult to do KM among many other things but I'm sure you're finding the time still - and bring your SNV colleagues around to the next borrel, if anything that could be a first stone on the way to convincing them about the value of KM for Dev indeed.
